Fenugreek germinates faster than anything else here and needs almost nothing: a shallow tray, a sunny ledge, water. Broadcast thickly, cut the whole plant at four weeks for methi, or leave a patch standing and let the leaves mature and dry for kasuri methi. Sow in succession, because a bed is finished in a month.
