Selected for uniform globe roots with a smooth interior and noticeably higher sugar. Each beetroot “seed” is a cluster of several, so expect a tuft of seedlings from one sowing and thin to the strongest. Do not transplant — beetroot resents root disturbance and sulks for weeks afterwards. Sow where it is to grow.
